How do you know that you love someone so much it hurts?

How do you know that someone will love you back?

How do you know that person will not cause you any pain?

How do you know that it is forever?

How do you live with the fact that even if you are the best of friends with him, both of you can never go beyond that because there is nothing between the two of you?

How do you cope with knowing that he will never love you back because he has someone else?

How do you go on with life knowing that every time you expose your heart to someone, there is always a risk of being torn into shreds?

You don’t.

There’s no guarantee at all.

All we have to do is blindly walk to that path hoping that this will be the last time we get hurt.

But we still get hurt.

Sometimes, I want to stop the pain even if it means shutting out my humanity.

Would it be worth it then?

Would it be worth it that while you never had to bleed for the pain caused by love, you feel that life is worthless?

Where do I got from here then?  Keep my heart under ice or  take the risk of being broken all over again?

me too.. me 3 :D

How do you know that you love someone so much it hurts?
–> think of the song: martyr nyebera. corny but its probly the best example i can give.

How do you know that someone will love you back?
–> in any kind of relationship.. you can never really expect someone to reciprocate the love that yer giving.

How do you know that person will not cause you any pain?
–> you can never demand that you wont be hurt..

How do you know that it is forever?
–> forever is such a strong word.

How do you live with the fact that even if you are the best of friends with him, both of you can never go beyond that because there is nothing between the two of you?
–> hell. and why would u let that happen? i was never a fan of loving someone from a far. gahd. that would drive me crazy :) )

How do you cope with knowing that he will never love you back because he has someone else?
–> ill have to get over him sooner or later. its really no use. its like suicide you know.

How do you go on with life knowing that every time you expose your heart to someone, there is always a risk of being torn into shreds?
–> because thats just how it is. you are assured of nothing in this world. but for me, love is always worth it. id rather try and realize it was wrong, than never to have loved that person at all.

Would it be worth it then?
–> ulwayz, dear.

Would it be worth it that while you never had to bleed for the pain caused by love, you feel that life is worthless?
–> thats how ironic life is. but hey. happiness is still a state of mind.

Where do I got from here then? Keep my heart under ice or take the risk of being broken all over again?
–> take the risk. take a step without feet. wear your heart on yer sleeve. love.

I don't really know why i'm posting this. After browsing thru some of the comments by the above, I just thought of one answer. "Love always wins." I just read a small book and that phrase seem to echo all throughout I just had to post this.

With Calliope, yeah i share your views as to the longevity of your parents' marriage . I think your parents must be wonderful. I'm on my 9th year of marriage and i honestly dont think i'll reach 40 years of it.

Its sad really and yet I have to persevere and answer all the questions i had in me.

I visited this site because i think i have some anger issues i need to face. I'm not good in relational and interpersonal issues and i think i've gotten brain drain because of smoking and coffee a lot. I tend to be forgetful and yet easily irritated but not in an outward fashion. I'm like an implosive type and mostly self disrupting. I hate it because i lose my self esteem in the process. I cant answer back cant reason out. Just plain internal rage i guess. Dont know how long i can take it but i'm trying to take small steps like trying to figure out why and how.

Love issues appeal to me on a 3rd person basis. When i'm in it, its like being enrage anew. I just dont know how to handle them anymore.
